Bahria Town Blast Five Dead, Several Injured

A devastating cylinder blast occurred in the YUMTO building, located next to the Asian Wok restaurant in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi.

According to Shaheryar Hassan, who reported the incident on Twitter, the blast was so severe that it led to the death of five individuals.

He also shared that the owner of Yumto has clarified the circumstances surrounding a significant incident that occurred on their premises. According to the owner, a retaining wall at the backside of the neighboring restaurant, Asian Wok, collapsed and fell onto Yumto’s LPG cylinders, causing a substantial explosion.

The collapse of the wall and subsequent explosion have caused extensive damage to both Yumto and Asian Wok, as well as other nearby restaurants.

The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the community, raising concerns about safety standards and the handling of such dangerous materials in public areas. The local authorities are yet to comment on the incident.

The blast has left the residents of Bahria Town in a state of shock and mourning. The community is waiting for further updates and hoping for the swift recovery of those injured in the incident.
