The Tucson Hybrid is available in two variants: the Tucson Hybrid Smart FWD and the Tucson Hybrid Signature AWD, priced at Rs. 10,999,000 and Rs. 11,999,000 (Ex-Factory) respectively. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.6L Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection Hybrid Electric Vehicle (T-GDi HEV) engine, delivering a combined output of 232 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque, combining fuel efficiency with high performance.

The Signature AWD variant offers additional enhancements, including terrain modes tailored for snow, mud, and sand, and a longer wheelbase of 2755 mm, aimed at providing a superior driving experience across varied road conditions.

In terms of features, the Tucson Hybrid boasts dual-zone climate control, a head-up display, and optional 19-inch alloy wheels in the Signature variant. The vehicle is also equipped with Hyundai SmartSense, offering more than 20 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that significantly enhance safety and convenience.

Additional premium offerings include heated and ventilated front seats, memory seats, and LED projection headlamps integrated with an intelligent front-lighting system, making the Tucson Hybrid a compelling choice for SUV enthusiasts seeking advanced technology and luxury.

The launch comes in response to the intensifying competition in Pakistan’s hybrid SUV segment. Kia Lucky Motors recently unveiled the fifth-generation Kia Sportage on January 30, 2025, offering three variants with prices ranging from Rs. 9,499,000 to Rs. 12,850,000. Hyundai’s new Tucson Hybrid aims to capture a significant share of this growing market by delivering cutting-edge hybrid technology and elevated driving experiences tailored to local consumer preferences.
