Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading cellular and digital services provider, hosted its Annual Business Conference 2022 virtually, with over 250 employees from throughout the company in attendance. The event, which was themed ‘Let’s Get Digital,’ which is also Zong’s new marketing statement, saw business management showcase annual accomplishments and milestones for the year 2021.

At the event, Zong’s commitment to Digital Pakistan was reaffirmed, and its various measures to bring the country up to speed with the rest of the world’s digital race were highlighted, with staff enthusiastic about their contributions. The firm’s employees’ persistent and tireless contributions to making the company the go-to provider of connectivity and high-end digital services were also highlighted and praised by top management.
The company’s aims for 2022 – as well as a broader vision for the future – were also highlighted at the event, with staff expressing their enthusiasm for the company’s ambitions. The executives also discussed how Zong is driving Pakistan’s digital transformation from the front, and how the company would continue to work hard to realise the Digital Pakistan vision.

Wang Hua, Zong Chairman & CEO, also addressed with the staff the company’s long-term core strategic direction, as well as Zong’s growth and development objectives for 2022. “I congratulate all Zong employees on making 2021 a year of numerous achievements,” Wang Hua said at the event. “Thanks to our loyal workers and customers, we were able to reach many milestones and create new industry benchmarks.”

He also emphasised Zong’s CSR activities, emphasising the company’s commitment to contributing value to Pakistani society. “Zong thinks that through digital and intelligent transformation, we can assist Pakistan in digitally transforming and enabling every citizen,” he added. Since March 2020, Zong has implemented the work-from-home model and effectively adapted the organisation for the new business model, keeping employee wellness as a top concern. This is the second time since the pandemic that Zong has held its Annual Business Conference online.
