Sources suggest that the issue is likely related to international traffic rather than local networks.

In the meantime, Meta platforms, including Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, are functioning normally, while other services remain disrupted.

TaazaTaren has reached out to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for comment. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Nayatel reported that its services are unaffected, though minor issues were experienced in some southern cities, which have since been resolved. The northern network, serving Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, and Faisalabad, has encountered no problems.

However, some ISPs are still experiencing disruptions, while others are operating normally. This variability suggests that the problem may be limited to specific networks or regions.

ProPakistani also contacted the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for comment. According to PTA sources, the internet service is experiencing slow speeds due to technical issues.

A PTCL spokesperson confirmed to TaazaTaren that the PTCL network is facing a data outage in various cities, affecting connectivity. The team is working diligently to resolve and rectify the situation as soon as possible.
