Emergency services, including Rescue 1122, Pakistan Air Force, and Army personnel, promptly arrived at the crash site with ambulances and fire brigade units. Despite their swift response, unconfirmed reports suggest that the pilot may have lost their life. Authorities have secured the wreckage near the runway and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
Previous Training Aircraft Crash Incident: This is not the first time a PAF training aircraft has met with an accident. In October last year, another training aircraft crashed in the Gandaf Bar Kali area of Swabi during routine exercises. Fortunately, the pilots managed to eject safely using parachutes before the crash, sustaining only minor injuries. They were quickly airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
The PAF continues to investigate such incidents to improve flight safety and ensure the efficiency of its training programs. The latest crash underscores the challenges faced during pilot training and the importance of stringent safety protocols.
