The centers will be equipped with all the necessary facilities, including high-speed internet, computers, and other equipment. They will also provide training and support to freelancers to help them develop their skills and find new opportunities.
Dr. Saif said that there are currently over 15 million freelancers in Pakistan, but most of them do not have access to the necessary facilities to succeed. He said that the digital employment centers will help to address this issue and create new opportunities for freelancers.
Each digital employment center will have a capacity of 100 people. This means that the 10,000 centers will be able to provide facilities for 1 million freelancers. Dr. Saif said that these freelancers will be able to generate $10 billion in foreign exchange for the country each year.
The announcement of the digital employment centers is the latest in a series of initiatives by the government to promote the IT and telecommunications sector. In the past four months, the government has taken 13 revolutionary steps to boost the sector, including the launch of the Digital Pakistan Vision 2025.
Dr. Saif said that these initiatives will directly benefit the people of Pakistan and pave the way for large-scale investment in the country.
