Leading companies from Pakistan’s oil and energy sector are set to make a strong impression at the Pakistan Pavilion at ADIPEC 2024 in Abu Dhabi, showcasing their capabilities and seeking strategic partnerships.

The Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP) has organized and spearheaded this participation, reflecting Pakistan’s growing role in the global energy landscape.

ADIPEC 2024 unites the entire energy industry, offering a prime platform for companies to form partnerships that align with evolving business models and innovations in response to the needs of the global energy ecosystem. The event fosters essential collaboration and dialogue across multiple sectors—spanning energy, technology, finance, maritime, logistics, manufacturing, and transportation—key to accelerating the energy transition and advancing climate action.

As a vital body in Pakistan’s energy sector, PIP represents 23 companies and over 550 individual members. Pakistani companies attending ADIPEC 2024 include major players such as PARCO, Pakistan

State Oil, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan Refinery Limited, and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited. Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy – Petroleum Division is also supporting this initiative, emphasizing the country’s commitment to energy development and international cooperation.

Mr. Ali Murtaza Abbas, Chairman of PIP, stated that Pakistani companies at ADIPEC represent both the vast potential of the sector and the high-quality talent Pakistan offers. “PIP continuously seeks opportunities to showcase Pakistan’s oil and energy sector. We aim to forge partnerships, explore new technologies, and foster cooperation for efficient and cleaner energy solutions,” he said.

He further emphasized that ADIPEC 2024 will enable Pakistani companies and professionals to maximize the benefits of this global forum for dialogue. Mr. Shehryar Omar, CEO of PIP, also expressed optimism about the event, anticipating meaningful engagement for Pakistani companies throughout.

Since its founding in 1963, PIP has championed Pakistan’s petroleum industry, uniting stakeholders across the sector to promote growth and collaboration in Pakistan’s energy landscape.
