Prime Minister Imran Khan was the Chief Guest at a Condolence Reference in Islamabad to condole the sad demise of Mr. Priyantha Kumara, Production Manager RAJCO Industries, Sialkot.

The Prime Minister laid a floral wreath in the honour of his departed soul, and announced a financial compensation of $100,000, contributed by the business community of Sialkot, for the bereaved family along with a promise to continue uninterrupted release of his monthly salary for the years to come.

The Prime Minister also awarded a commendatory certificate to Mr. Adnan Malik, Deputy Production Manager, RAJCO Industries, Sialkot in recognition of his bravery and moral courage in an effort to save Mr. Priyantha Kumara from the unruly mob on that fateful day. He also announced the conferment of Tamgha-e-Shujaat on him on Pakistan Day, and declared him true face of tolerant Pakistan. He urged upon the youth to emulate courageous deed of this hero.
