A memorial meeting for veteran journalist, author, and renowned PR specialist Babar Ayaz will be held on May 11, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. at the Karachi Press Club.

Babar started his career in the early 1970s. He worked with the now defunct Sun, Dawn, and Business Recorder for many years and later founded his own PR firm, Mediators, in 1988.
Babar Ayaz was associated with the National Students Federation (NSF) during his student life. And contributed columns to Daily Times, The News, Newsline, Urdu daily Express and Sindhi daily Awami Awaz. He authored a widely acclaimed book What’s wrong with Pakistan, which was later translated into Urdu and Sindhi languages.
Senior journalists, human rights activists, and his friends will address the meeting.
