Our Editorial Standards
- Accuracy first: we check facts against official and primary sources, such as government departments, regulators, courts, companies and official statements, before we publish.
- Attribution: we say where information comes from inside the story and link to official documents or statements where possible.
- Independence: our news coverage is not paid for. Advertisers and sponsors have no say over our news stories.
- Fairness: we report on companies and institutions in a balanced way, including regulatory actions, fines and complaints, not only announcements.
- Clear headlines: our headlines reflect what the story actually says.
Corrections Policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it. When a factual error is found in a story, we correct it as quickly as possible and, where the change is significant, add a note at the end of the article explaining what was corrected. To report an error, email editorial@taazataren.com with the link to the story and the correct information.
Press Releases and Sponsored Content
We also publish press releases and sponsored content from companies and organisations. These are kept in our separate Press Release section and are not presented as independent news reporting. TaazaTaren is not responsible for claims made in third-party content.
Advertising
TaazaTaren is supported by advertising, including ads served by Google. Ads are shown separately from our news content. To learn how ads and cookies are used, please read our Privacy Policy.
