Fake Stamps, Real Profits: Millions of counterfeit cigarettes, adorned with phony stamps, are flooding the market, raising serious doubts about the effectiveness of the government’s “Track & Trace” anti-smuggling system. This black market bonanza has already cost the nation a staggering Rs5.7 billion in lost taxes.

Metro Mayhem: Big cities like Islamabad and Rawalpindi are leading the charge in this illegal smoke ring, despite their supposed ease of enforcement. This raises questions about how authorities are tackling the problem in more remote areas.
