Caretaker Minister for IT and Telecom, Dr. Umar Saif, along with his wife, has reported a substantial financial portfolio exceeding Rs. 280 million. The detailed breakdown comprises properties valued at over Rs. 200 million, 110 tolas of gold assessed at Rs. 5.6 million, cash holdings surpassing Rs. 63 million, and $20,606 in foreign currency.

According to official documents obtained by TaazaTaren, Dr. Saif’s asset declaration encompasses a total of Rs. 280.97 million. Among these assets are multiple residential and commercial properties valued at Rs. 202.2 million, 400,000 shares in TPL Properties worth Rs. 4.19 million, and 150,000 shares in K-Electric amounting to Rs. 674,040.
Dr. Saif’s property portfolio encompasses diverse holdings, including a 1 kanal residential plot in DHA Multan, a 4-mala commercial plot file in DHA Lahore, and a 3.3 marla residential plot in Baghbanpura, Lahore. Additionally, he has declared ownership of a commercial office in Gulberg-III, a 200 sq yards commercial plot in Karachi, and a commercial building in Muslim Town, Lahore.
The financial disclosures extend to Dr. Saif’s wife, who possesses properties valued at an impressive Rs. 158.4 million, including holdings in DHA Lahore Phase 9 and Phase 11, Naval Anchorage, LDA, and Gulberg Lahore.
Beyond real estate, the minister has invested $11,975 in business capital outside Pakistan and reported gifts in the form of a Mercedes Kompressor and a Toyota Corolla. The financial disclosure is completed with cash holdings of Rs. 63.4 million and maintained balances in three bank accounts, with Rs. 1.093 million in cash and $20,606 in foreign currency.
