AAA Associates is a proud sponsor of the 36th Early Birds Golfers Tournament 2022, held at Rawalpindi Golf Club (RGC). The event drew players from all walks of life. The tournament allowed participants to play in different categories. The event was presided over by the Director Marketing AAA Associates Mr Usman Iqbal. Director Corporate Sales AAA Associates Syed Wajahat Ali, Brig (r) Mehmood and Brig (r) Abdul Salaam Akhtar also graced the occasion with their presence.
AAA Associates is dedicated to promoting sporting events at the grassroots level in order to optimize everyone’s potential. In addition to powering and sponsoring elite level sporting events, AAA Associates is known for sponsoring numerous athletes and sportsmen, and promotes grassroot level sports activities for a healthier society.
Chairman AAA Associates Mr. Sheikh Fawad Bashir congratulated the winners of the tournament and said, “In this day and age, the sport has become one of the most important components of any country’s socio-economic development. Active participation improves community collective health and productivity, lowers medical risk, and strengthens social cohesion. More events and tournaments like these can help to develop sporting infrastructure, create jobs, and even help Pakistan’s economic development.”
MD AAA Associates Lt. Col (r) Shahzad Ali Kiani expressed gratitude to all tournament participants and promised to continue organising sports activities for the general public. He said, “Golf is on its way to becoming a sport accessible to all, irrespective of skill level. We saw some amazing performances by professionals and amateurs. Pakistani golfers’ participation is increasing gradually in international tournaments, as more young amateurs gather enough experience and exposure to represent the nation in the sport. We are committed to the betterment of sport in Pakistan by sponsoring a diverse range of competitions in the future.”
The 36th Early Birds Golfers Tournament 2022 concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, honouring the winners of all three main categories. Col. (r) Aurangzeb won the Grass category trophy, while Abdul Shakoor won the Net Category. Shehryar Sarfaraz won first in the Grass Juniors category. Director Marketing AAA Associates Mr Usman Iqbal distributed the prizes among the winners.
