While Pakistan might be struggling in the T20Is, Babar has been in scintillating form. Despite the team’s losses, he has hammered three half-centuries at a superb strike rate. This resurgence bodes well for the BPL, where he joins Rangpur Riders for six group stage matches.
Babar, also the skipper of Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), will miss Rangpur’s first match but arrives brimming with confidence. After a disappointing time of late, his recent form suggests he’s ready to unleash his batting prowess on Bangladeshi crowds.

For Peshawar Zalmi fans, the excitement doesn’t end there. Babar will lead them in the PSL starting February 17th, with their second match against Quetta Gladiators. The Zalmis haven’t lifted the trophy since 2017, and Babar’s leadership and current form might be the recipe for ending that drought.
Get ready for a Babar Azam takeover! He’s set to light up both the BPL and PSL with his batting brilliance.
