The Bitcoin price held near $84,050 on Monday after dipping to about $83,500, even as US spot bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $681 million in weekly outflows, according to reports.
Bitcoin Price and ETF Flows
Sunday’s high was about $84,145. The ETF outflows were the largest since June, according to SoSoValue data cited in market reports, and most of them came on Wednesday and Thursday. Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus Exchange, said ETF flows remain volatile and institutional sentiment is cautious.
Altcoins were mostly higher: nine of the top ten coins advanced over 24 hours, with Avalanche up 5.1% to $10.91, Chainlink up 2.4% to $13.35 and Solana up 1.2%.
Oil Falls, Key Levels to Watch
WTI crude futures fell 1.8% to $90.28 after President Donald Trump announced a deal for Russia to supply diesel, reversing Thursday’s spike. Analysts cited in market reports pointed to $82,000 as the support level bulls need to defend.
The next catalyst is US inflation data due on 14 October. Treasury yields reached 24-year highs in the week to 9 October, which analysts describe as a demanding backdrop for risk assets. This is market news, not investment advice.
