Daraz Delivery Turns Dangerous: Family Traumatized by Violent Rider Incident

Date:

A routine online shopping experience turned into a nightmare this morning when a local resident received the wrong parcel from Daraz, a popular online shopping platform. The customer, who wished to remain anonymous, reported that upon realizing the mistake, they requested the delivery rider, Ayesha Ali, to return the parcel.

However, the situation quickly escalated when Ayesha refused to take back the parcel, citing concerns that she would be penalized. Despite the customer’s assurances that there would be no consequences for her, the rider’s demeanor reportedly became aggressive.

The customer recounted how Ayesha’s behavior turned from rude to abusive, leaving both them and their elderly mother in a state of shock and fear. The confrontation took a violent turn when Ayesha allegedly began kicking the door and hurling bricks at the house. Fearing for their safety, the family was forced to call the police to intervene and remove the rider from the premises.

The customer emphasized that the issue was never about the payment or the incorrect order, but rather the rider’s violent behavior. They expressed their disappointment with Daraz, questioning the company’s hiring practices and expressing their trauma from the incident.

“I have been a loyal Daraz customer for years, but after this terrifying experience, I can no longer trust their service,” the customer stated. “I never thought I would have to call the police over a simple parcel delivery.”

This incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and conduct of delivery personnel, with the affected family urging Daraz to take immediate action to address the situation. The customer, who is now reconsidering their relationship with the platform, hopes that their ordeal will serve as a wake-up call for the company to review their policies and ensure the safety of their customers.

Daraz has yet to respond to the incident.
