While addressing audience Dr Muhammad Afzal Project coordinator FAO said “We are glad to organise this event in collaboration with Fleming Fund this kind of event are very beneficial for raising awareness of veterinary professionals to tackle transferable disease. The purpose of seminar was to encourage veterinaries to control disease among animals, handle outbreak situation and to promote best practice among veterinary practices.

Dr Farooq delivered a practical session on one health approach and how it can help combat Antimicrobial Resistance. He shared the cases of Antimicrobial Resistance victims, while presenting he stated that “We are still in Denial Phase, We need to work together and encourage multi sectoral approach to cop AMR”
Dr Usman Zaheer Surveillance Lead the Fleming Fund Pakistan, shared the Knowledge Attitudes and Practice survey implemented KAP surveys across Pakistan which resulted in collection of data from 430 dairy farmers and 160 field veterinarians on different aspects of AMR and AMU using a structured and pretested questioner. Dr Qurat ul Ain, Field officer Epidemiology FAO Pakistan presented and eucated athe Transboundary Animal Disease, how they transmit and how we can control them.
Dr Sami Ullah Khan Bahadur, Technical Cordinator the Fleming Fund Pakistan explained the role of Ministry of National Food Security, how they are surpassing their challenges and achieving their goal to tackle Antimicrobial Resistance. The Event summarised with group activity Lead By Dr Usman Talib ISO Consultant and Dr Sammi Ullah khan Bahadur Technical Cordinator the Fleming Fund Pakistan and with the vote of thanks by Dr Naveed e Sehar Additional Director Livestock.
