A fire erupted at Islamabad’s Serena Hotel early Thursday, just hours before PSL teams were scheduled to leave for the stadium for a crucial match. The blaze, which started in one of the upper floors, triggered panic among guests, including players and officials from two participating franchises.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing smoke billowing from the building as hotel staff and emergency responders swiftly evacuated guests.
