The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police spokesperson responded to the recent press conference where a Peshawar resident’s wife accused DPO Charsadda of harassment. The Inspector General promptly ordered the senior police officer’s removal from field duty, instructing them to report to the Central Police Office in response to the complaint.
Given the gravity of the allegations, a high-level inquiry committee has been formed to thoroughly investigate the officer’s conduct. The committee received instructions to expedite proceedings and present findings at the earliest.
