Unidentified Individuals Fire on Security Forces, Spread False Information at Lal Masjid

Unidentified individuals who were present inside Lal Masjid indiscriminately fired upon security officials stationed outside the mosque on June 21, 2023. In the incident, Maulana Abdul Aziz’s personal vehicle was also hit by the gunfire.

The security forces responded to the firing and managed to disperse the individuals. However, no one was injured in the incident.

The individuals who fired on the security forces are now resorting to spreading false information and propaganda in order to evade legal consequences. They are claiming that the security forces were the ones who fired on them, and they are also spreading rumors that the mosque was attacked.
