Ufone has introduced a set of Ufone BISP packages aimed at people registered with the Benazir Income Support Programme, with monthly plans that start at just Rs 50.
What the Ufone BISP Packages Include
According to Ufone’s website, there are three subsidised offers. The BISP Mahana Call Offer costs Rs 50 and gives 500 minutes to Ufone, Telenor and PTCL numbers along with SMS for 30 days. The BISP Mahana Call Plus costs Rs 100 and adds 10 GB of data to 1,000 on-net minutes and SMS, again for 30 days. The BISP Quarterly Offer is priced at Rs 300 and bundles 30 GB of data, 3,000 on-net minutes, 150 minutes to other networks and SMS, with the site listing a 30-day validity despite the name.
TechJuice and PhoneWorld reported the launch on 22 September 2026, and TechList followed a day later. The packages were announced alongside increases for two regular bundles: SC Lite now sits at Rs 1,700 and Weekly Mega Offer at Rs 730 from 26 September, according to Ufone’s website.
Who Should Look at the Ufone BISP Packages
These plans are meant only for BISP beneficiaries, so they are not an alternative to the ordinary prepaid cards for everyone else. For a household that mainly calls family on Ufone, Telenor or PTCL lines, the Rs 50 offer is a very low-cost way to stay connected for a month. The Rs 100 plan suits those who also need a modest amount of data for messaging and video calls, while the Rs 300 offer is the only one that includes minutes to other networks. Compared with a regular monthly card such as SC Lite at Rs 1,700, the savings are substantial, though the allowances are naturally smaller.
Before You Subscribe
The reports reviewed did not list subscription codes or spell out how eligibility is checked, so beneficiaries should confirm the process through Ufone’s official website or its helpline. Prices, allowances and eligibility rules can change at any time, and the subsidy terms may differ from the descriptions above, so check the current conditions before paying.
