Jazz, a leading telecom company in Pakistan, boasts a massive user base of nearly 70 million subscribers. However, reports suggest that only around 30 to 40 million of these are active users. Despite its popularity, the company faces widespread criticism for allegedly charging users for services they neither opt for nor benefit from.

Complaints are flooding in from subscribers who claim that multiple services are automatically activated on their numbers, often without their knowledge or consent. These services cost users a minimum of 4 to 5 rupees daily, adding up to millions in unwarranted charges.
A subscriber recently shared their experience: “A few days ago, a service named ‘Jazz Namaz’ was activated on my number without my consent. When I contacted the Jazz helpline (111) to address this issue, the process was unnecessarily tedious. After insisting on speaking to a supervisor, I was finally connected after half an hour of waiting.

I demanded a refund and threatened to approach the consumer court if no action was taken. After a lengthy argument, the supervisor agreed to process my refund, and within an hour, 40 rupees were credited back to my account.
It’s not about the 40 rupees; it’s about standing up against exploitation. Why should I let my hard-earned money go to these corporations without justification? This is why I urge everyone to fight for their rights instead of remaining silent spectators.”
How to Take Action: If you suspect unwarranted charges on your Jazz number, here’s what you can do:
