Mashreq Begins Pilot Operations in Pakistan with Strategic guidance from SBP

Following the successful acquisition of a restricted license from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Mashreq has officially commenced its pilot operations, marking a key milestone in its expansion into Pakistan’s digital banking landscape. At a ceremony held at the State Bank of Pakistan, Mashreq Pakistan’s leadership team, led by Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Hamayun Sajjad, met with SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad and senior officials to discuss the future of digital banking in Pakistan.
