Petrol Rises Again to Rs393.64 a Litre

Petrol prices in Pakistan went up for the third consecutive day, with the price rising by Rs0.88 to Rs393.64 per litre, while diesel became cheaper by Rs1.88 to Rs397.76 per litre, ProPakistani reported, citing the latest daily adjustment announced by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

Before the change, petrol was priced at Rs392.76 per litre and diesel at Rs399.64. The federal government approved the new petrol price for the next 24 hours under the daily pricing mechanism.

The latest increase follows a steeper rise on October 2, when petrol went up by Rs3.26 per litre.

Since daily price revisions began, petrol has become costlier by a total of Rs82.33 per litre, while diesel has risen by Rs74.46 per litre, according to the report.
