The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that PSL 12 will be held from March 18 to May 2, 2027.
The window was set after consultation with stakeholders, following a PSL Governing Council meeting in London on September 1 that was attended by owners and representatives of all eight franchises.
What Comes Next for PSL 12
The PCB said direct signings, retention announcements, the trade window and the player auction will follow. The schedule, venues and ticketing details will be announced in due course.
The 2026 season featured eight teams for the first time, along with the league’s first player auction, which replaced the draft system. Peshawar Zalmi beat debutants Hyderabad Kingsmen by five wickets in the final at Gaddafi Stadium on May 3, ending a nine-year wait for the title in front of a record crowd of 32,461.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the last edition showed what the league is capable of and that PSL 12 will raise the bar further. PSL CEO Salman Naseer said the league intends to meet the expectations set last season.
