David Urbán Arévalo is a writer who started in Germany and then moved to Spain, working at various places before writing stories. His path is one of change, creativity, and a constant passion for literature. David was born in the German city of Kassel in 1973. When he was just two years old, his parents decided to move to Spain. His family lived in Castellón de la Plana earlier, and later they moved to La Garriga, in Barcelona. David spent most of his childhood in Barcelona.

From an early age, David had a strong interest in learning and sports. He completed his Graduado Edcolar (School Graduate) and was recognised for his performance as an athlete. After completing his school education, he completed his military service, which Spain required at the time. Later, he received first-level professional training in the administrative branch. After many years, David decided to continue his education. He successfully graduated in Secondary Education for Adults. He proved that learning and personal growth can happen at any stage of life.
David had worked at various places. He has worked in a variety of jobs over the years, gaining experience in many fields. Along with his work, he was also drawn to the arts, enjoying drawing and painting in his spare time, but his primary creative outlet has been writing.
David’s published work includes Short Stories, Five Stories and a Sea, and Some Stories to Remember. Each book shows his style: easy words, familiar characters, and settings that feel real. The reader can find emotions and humour in his stories. Currently, David lives in Denia, Alicante, Spain. From Kassel to Denia, David Urbán Arévalo’s journey is one of perseverance and creativity.
