Beautyworld Dubai has opened its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with more than 220 fragrance exhibitors and AI-powered perfume technology on show, Express Tribune reported.
The three-day trade event runs from October 6 to 8 and is organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East. Its fragrance section covers more than 19,000 square metres.
Regional fragrance brands including Lattafa, Afnan, Armaf and French Avenue are exhibiting, along with Kuwait’s Gissah and first-time exhibitor Al Majed for Oud from Saudi Arabia. Lush is launching a new fragrance collection, while Scentronix is showing AI-powered perfume technology. Korean skincare brands SKIN1004, Medicube and Meditherapy are also taking part.
Master perfumer Aurélien Guichard speaks on October 6, followed by Louis Vuitton’s Jacques Cavallier Belletrud on October 7. Makeup artists Mary Phillips and Patrick Ta, and hairstylists Mounir, Dimitris Giannetos and Josh Lamonaca, are among the guests.
Huda Kattan will receive the Beautyworld Icon Award for her contributions to the global beauty industry. The Beautyworld Dubai Awards, covering 17 categories, take place on October 7 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel. The event is trade-only, for visitors aged 18 and above.
