The India-Pakistan fixture has drawn the highest demand in the ticket ballot for the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup, with more than 110,000 applications, as reported by Arab News.
The International Cricket Council received more than 1.1 million applications during the opening weekend of the ballot, and over 320,000 fans have registered.
South Africa versus India attracted more than 92,000 applications, while India versus Australia drew more than 86,000.
ICC chief executive Sanjog Gupta said reaching one million applications in just over 48 hours showed the attention and stature of the tournament.
The 14-team World Cup will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
