Bloomsbury has confirmed two new Pocket Potters books for release in 2027, adding more titles to the compact, illustrated series based on the Harry Potter franchise.
The first book is on Professor Minerva McGonagall, covering her role as Gryffindor’s head of house, her work as a Transfiguration master and her part in the Battle of Hogwarts. The second is on Fred and George Weasley, covering the twins’ pranks and their experiences at Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes.
Why the New Pocket Potters Titles Matter
The announcement comes as interest in the wizarding world grows again, driven by HBO’s new live-action Harry Potter series. The Pocket Potters books offer short, illustrated guides to characters and key events, making them an easy entry point for younger readers and long-time fans alike.
The franchise’s publishing efforts also include audio, interactive and illustrated collector editions.
