The European Union (EU) has announced Rs350 million in emergency assistance for Pakistan’s flood victims, saying the package would address urgent humanitarian needs.

According to EU officials, the aid will include life-saving medical services and cash support to families most severely affected by the disaster. The assistance will be disbursed through reliable humanitarian agencies.
Flash floods caused by heavy monsoon rains have killed several people, left many missing, and inflicted widespread destruction. The EU expressed deep sympathy for the victims and assured Pakistan that it would continue to stand with its people.
