Shah noted that the flagship program has already supported 770,000 women in 15 districts since its launch with World Bank support last year.
Through the program, women not only receive financial support but also gain access to healthcare facilities across 800 hospitals and dispensaries. The increased cash amount will be distributed over three years to provide stronger economic stability for beneficiaries.
Shah also approved the inclusion of seven more districts in the program, which is part of the broader Social Protection Delivery System expected to be fully rolled out by 2027. The initiative reflects Sindh’s commitment to strengthening maternal health, social protection, and poverty reduction across the province.
