Through this collaboration, Zong is enabling JDC Foundation to expand access to essential medical testing, removing one of the biggest barriers in Pakistan’s healthcare landscape: the cost of basic diagnostics. By covering the cost of medical tests, the initiative ensures that individuals who previously could not afford screenings can now receive accurate and reliable diagnostic services at no cost.
The free diagnostic services will include essential tests such as; Complete Blood Count (CBC), HbA1C, Kidney and Liver Function Tests (RFT/LFT). These tests are critical for the early detection and management of anaemia, diabetes, infections, and chronic illnesses; conditions that often remain undiagnosed due to affordability issues.
Speaking about the partnership, Nabila Yazdani, Head of Strategy, Communications & Sustainability at Zong, said:
“Access to quality healthcare should never be limited by financial barriers. By partnering with JDC Foundation, we are empowering underserved communities to take charge of their health through free, reliable diagnostics. This initiative is a testament to Zong’s commitment to using innovation and partnerships to drive inclusive growth and meaningful impact across Pakistan.”
This collaboration highlights Zong’s dedication to creating sustainable impact by enabling equitable access to essential healthcare services and fostering meaningful support for marginalized communities.
