“Bardasht has already been working with Huawei Pakistan for social contribution for a long time, and we always appreciate their help in the aid of the underprivileged Children and Women of Afghanistan,” said Ms. Neelum Toru, President of Bardasht. Mr. Cheng, the bureau chief of People’s Daily Pakistan, was also present.
BARDASHT is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that was established in 1961 under the Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance. The company’s headquarters are in Islamabad, and it has offices in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and Gilgit. It assists the underserved through strategic health, education, and skill development activities. Since its arrival in Pakistan about 24 years ago, Huawei Pakistan has been working to close the gap, whether it be in terms of poverty or the digital divide. To name a few instances, this has been accomplished through CSR events and the establishment of ICT academies throughout the world.
