Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi called on Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani at Parliament House. Issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. The Chairman Senate expressed concern over the recent inhumane acts of Indian Army in indian illegally occupied jammu and Kashmir. He said that Kashmiri youths were being martyred through fake police encounters in Occupied Kashmir and not handing over their corpses to their families was a serious violation of basic human rights. Issues related to promotion of tourism and industrial development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir were also discussed during the meeting. The Chairman Senate assured full cooperation to the Government of Azad Kashmir for the promotion of tourism and hydropower projects in Azad Kashmir. He stressed the need to ensure the provision of basic necessities of life to the people living on the Line of Control (LoC).
