In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, PTCL said the shares of both companies were transferred in its name, completing a transaction disclosed previously.

The company said any further developments linked to the acquisition would be shared with the exchange in line with applicable laws and regulations.

The acquisition is expected to reshape competition in Pakistan’s telecom industry by bringing together PTCL’s infrastructure with Telenor Pakistan’s established market presence.

The transaction also covers Orion Towers, a company involved in telecom tower infrastructure, as part of the completed transfer confirmed by PTCL.
