The Group’s total revenue surged to Rs 219.7 billion, driven by growth in fixed broadband, mobile data, wholesale, and business solutions. PTCL itself posted a 12% year-on-year (YoY) revenue increase, reaching Rs 107.7 billion, while its mobile subsidiary, Ufone, reported an impressive 25% YoY growth.

A major highlight was Ufone’s return to positive operating profit, with an EBIT of Rs 4.6 billion. Additionally, PTCL’s premium fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) service, Flash Fiber, experienced rapid expansion, achieving 104% YoY growth and surpassing 650,000 subscribers. The fixed broadband segment also saw a 20% YoY increase.

In December 2023, PTCL announced its plan to acquire 100% shares of Telenor Pakistan, a transaction expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.

Ufone continued expanding its customer base, surpassing 26 million users, including 17 million 4G subscribers. The company also launched new services, such as international roaming packages and value-added digital solutions like Golootlo, Shoq, and UCloud.

PTCL Group also focused on corporate social responsibility, launching the ‘Dil Se’ platform to support women entrepreneurs, provide clean drinking water, and facilitate digital inclusion. The Group partnered with UNICEF on polio eradication efforts and supported disaster relief projects.

With its strong financial performance, innovative services, and strategic growth initiatives, PTCL Group remains a dominant force in Pakistan’s telecom industry.
