Chinese mobile company claims to be the world’s fastest growing 5G smartphone brand

For the first time, Chinese mobile company realme has emerged as the fastest growing smartphone brand in the world, while being the youngest of the top six smartphone brands. With its strong and consistent growth, Chinese mobile company realme has climbed into the Top 5 in terms of 5G smartphone shipments in 20 global markets, solidifying its position as an industry leader in democratising 5G.

According to a recent Counterpoint research analysis, Chinese mobile company realme’s 5G shipments surged at the quickest rate of all major smartphone manufacturers in the fourth quarter of 2021, at 165 percent year over year. Due to its multiple 5G-enabled devices and the GT series, the company’s rapid growth has been aided by its arrival into Western European countries like as Italy, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, where it is the fastest-growing brand.

Outside of Europe, Chinese mobile company realme’s 5G devices have continued to perform well in regions like the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific, accounting for the majority

 of the 20 global markets (including India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, and Singapore) where realme’s 5G smartphone shipments rank among the top-five.
