In a bid to fortify the digital landscape, the federal cabinet also sanctioned the establishment of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Endowed with essential expertise, funding, and resources, NCCIA is primed to play a pivotal role in combating cybercrimes nationwide. This strategic initiative represents a significant stride in fortifying the country’s digital infrastructure.
Additionally, the cabinet approved the establishment of specialized Telecom Tribunals, aiming to streamline legal processes and enhance efficiency within the telecom sector. This decision is anticipated to expedite the resolution of court cases and disputes, ensuring a seamless deployment of the 5G spectrum and sustaining uninterrupted progress in the industry.
